Miles App Feature: Tagging and Enhanced Trip/Destination Information

Introducing a Tagging and Enhanced Trip/Destination Information feature that ensures efficient data collection while empowering users to willingly share trip details, with flexibility and respect for their privacy. This feature seamlessly integrates with social platforms to elevate the user experience, always prioritizing opt-in participation. Users can actively engage, ensuring trip recording reliability and unlocking opportunities for tagging popular areas and events, potentially for advertising. Plus, consider gamification and badge rewards for an enhanced social connection, compatible with Apple Watch and Fitbit for friendly competition.

Success Criteria:

  • Aim for a target of 2% of users actively using the tagging feature daily.

  • Incorporate advertisements in the new Trip Detail or Intent option screen, charging 1 cent per impression.

  • Ad dimensions: 300 x 250 pixels, costing 3 cents per impression.

  • Encourage users to record and document their trips effectively.

  • Prioritize the release of this feature in Japan.

  • Ensure a user-friendly transition between Trip 1.0 and 2.0 UI.
